SEITec FireGuard Emergency Wrap provides wildfire protection primarily by reflecting the intense radiant heat which is the primary source of heat responsible for structures reaching ignition temperature. It's made from woven fiberglass fabric fibers that form a strong, uniform web and is coated with a thin sheet of aluminum foil. The aluminized surface provides the crucial reflective property while the underlying fiberglass fabric provides thermal insulation.

FireGuard is made from the same materials used by firefighters. It is comprised of non-combustible fiberglass fabric overlaid by aluminum foil. This is the same material that is used for emergency wrapping of structures during wildfires.

SEITec FireGuard CarShield is fabricated from double-sided Aluminized Fiberglass Fabric, the same material and design that firefighters use for emergency shelter.
